About Springdale Country

Springdale Country has been family owned and operated since 1962, making it one of the oldest established stores in Huntington Beach. The owners, Harold and Karen Marcus, along with their five sons and their wives (and now grandchildren) have built a destination shop for Orange County with a wonderful selection of gifts, clothes, cards, candy, jewelry, antiques and home products all in an old fashioned setting. With a nostalgic interior of 1800’s counters and display fixtures, Springdale Country offers a feast for the senses and an invitation down memory lane.

In addition to fine shopping, Springdale Country serves the community with a full service U.S. Postal Sub-Station. Not only a convenient spot to buy stamps and mail letters, the sub-station distributes tax information and collects mail as a receiving agent.

While businesses in Huntington Beach have come and gone, Springdale Country has been a mainstay that has changed with the times. The result is a pleasant shop where anyone can get the perfect gift, find a new outfit, sample fine chocolate, mail out a birthday card, and run into old friends.
